February 19th: Heavy Snowfall
There was a snowy mountain at the entrance of the Arakawa Residence,
and the rope that prohibited cars from entering was buried,
so I could not see it.
Also, the signboard of the Arakawa Residence was half buried
in the snow.
This year was the first heavy snowfall in several years,
and about 70 cm of snow had piled up.
They had lowered the snow on the roof about twice around here.
There were snow walls on both sides of the sidewalk of national route
158 in front of the Arakawa Residence, and it became like a ditch.
(the Arakawa Residence on the right side, the roadway behind
the snow wall on the left side)
It is a scenery of the heavy snow of the whole view of the Arakawa Residence.
The snow that had been removed from the road by a snowplow changed color
and piled up in the foreground.
It is a scenery of the heavy snow of the Arakawa Residence main house.
It is a scenery of the heavy snow of the History and Folklore Museum.
The snow on the steep slope of the roof fell
and piled up as a mountain underneath.
