July 20th: Ogata house
In the flower beds, yellow marigolds, red keitou,
and purple verbena flowers were blooming beautifully.
The Ogata house is a wooden one-story house with the width of 8 ken
and a half (15.5 m) and the depth of 6 ken (11 m).
It is made of gable and the roof is covered with wooden boards (Kure).

The outer wall are planked and the shutters are made of wood.
There is a board door at the entrance.
A large Enku Buddha sculpture is on display.
Haruki (firewood) is stacked next to the plank outer wall.
Two large hornet nests were hanging under the eaves.
There is Hafu (gable) on the roof and sarco that holds it in place.
